Cardboard 3D Sculpture

During the Summer the task was to create 3D model versions of ourselves out of cardboard and make to make them so that you're able to see it from all angles. I worked on this during summer scholars during July and August, on one side it features myself and the other side it shows my late grandmother a.k.a Nana who passed away the day before I left home to attend Summer Scholars in July. My reasoning for adding her as well as myself is because she's a part of me and makes up a lot of who I am today so I decided to add her connected to my hip. The piece was supposed to symbolize time and how even though there's only so much time in the world I'll always remember her as a person and the meaningful times we shared together. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to complete my piece due to the professor realizing there was a time constraint, and we wouldn't have enough time to complete the assignment in full.
